Sports medicine in the Martini Sports Medical Center and the Omnium
The sports doctors of the Martini Hospital work at two locations: in the Martini Sports Medical Center of the Martini Hospital and in Het Omnium. We conduct all sports medical examinations in the special exercise lab of Het Omnium. You can go to the Martini Sports Medical Center for an injury consultation from your GP. There is also specialist care for the chronically ill.
The sports doctors work closely with orthopedists from the Martini Hospital. In addition, they are part of the medical staff of FC Groningen, Donar, NOC*NSF and the Royal Dutch Skating Association.
Costs: with a referral from the GP or at your own request
You can visit one of our sports doctors with or without a referral.
Does your GP refer you to us for an examination, exercise test or examination and do you have a referral? Or have you suffered any complaints during exercise/sports or an injury? Then you need a referral from your GP and the treatment will be reimbursed from the basic insurance and your deductible.
Would you like a sports medical examination, exercise test or examination at your own request? Then you pay the costs for this yourself or you may be able to claim these through your additional health insurance.
